I Gaven (In the Gift) was written in the spring of 2025. The work explores identity, gratitude, and the emotional and social dynamics of giving, receiving, and reciprocating.

 

Through collaborative and interdisciplinary compositional process, the project invites musicians into a shared journey of vulnerability and generosity.

A Posture of Attendance (2024)

A Posture of Attendance is a series of site-specific compositions composed in Oslo in 2024. These compositions are written for different locations and involve 3 to 7 same or similar instruments.
 
The harmony is composed according to the room’s frequencies, and musicians are positioned based on its resonant qualities, making sound and architecture active participants in the performance.

As Silent As Bombs  (2022-2024)

As Silent As Bombs is a data-based composition consisting of three parts: Overture, Bang, and Whiteness, dedicated to Wei Ting's brothers Wei Hsiang and Wei Chih.

The composition is structured by data visualization in focus on military violation and sonic fear. It considers the ecology of fear and kinesthetic sound simulation.

En Gave fra Gud  (2019)

​

En Gave fra Gud is a Norwegian documentary by Jørgen Lorentzen that investigates the failed coup attempt in Turkey on July 15, 2016.

 

The film examines what happened that night, who was behind it, and how President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan used the event, which he famously called “a gift from God”, to consolidate power and suppress opposition.​​
