Space Etude For One Arm is an etude for string instruments and percussions to study the relation between timbres and body movements. It was composed in the spring of 2024 as part of Wei Ting's Master project "Harmonized Space".

The performer can either stand or sit on a chair, and the center of the body should be as stable as possible, facing front, and can not rotate the body while performing. The choice between using the left or right hand with the bow is up to the performer. But the arm without the bow has to be placed next to the body relaxingly. The performer is free to choose the order of each line and the duration before playing the next line.
